Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati are known as 'Tridevis' in Hinduism. The first mention of Saraswati as a goddess is found in the Rigveda. She has been an important goddess in Hinduism from the Vedic period to the modern era. Saraswati is usually worshiped in a two-sided or four-sided form.
Saraswati is the goddess of learning, knowledge, art, art and music. At present, students studying in institutional studies perform this pooja in Sambar. Mata Saraswati is Jnanadayini i.e. the giver of welfare and peace, she is the destroyer of Barda and worldly illusions. In ancient Vedic literature especially in the Vedas we find Mother Saraswati. Saraswati is therefore a fully Vedic goddess. Vedic sages have worshiped him in various meditation mantras. For example:

Translation:

Translation:
Guardians of the light of knowledge, scholars, grant us welfare. May Vidyadevi Saraswati be a benefactor with wisdom in many ways.
Although Goddess Saraswati was worshiped in various ways during the Vedic period, sages worshiped her mainly in two forms. (1) In the form of river (2) In the form of mother or goddess. Now we will show authentic Vedic mantras on this matter.

Aprashasta ib Smasi Prasthasimalva Naskridhi ॥ (Rigveda 2/41/16)
Translation:
The best of mothers, the best of rivers, the best of goddesses O Saraswati! We are like the poor, make us rich.
In this mantra we see that He is the best among mothers as well as among rivers. This Saraswati was a mighty river in the Vedic period, though now extinct. But in the description of the sages we find the description of that river. For example:

Proverb Raksheb Jati Vishwa Apo Mahina Sindhuranya: ॥
The only Saraswati river is pure and pure. (Rigveda 7/95/1-2)

O Vasishta! You compose great hymns to Saraswati, mighty in the rivers, Saraswati who lives in the world! By your majesty men receive both food. You become our protector, be the friend of the Maruts and send wealth to the Habishmans.
In the Vedic era, Saraswati's mother Saraswati appeared in the beautiful natural setting on the banks of the Saraswati river, in the flowing waves of Kallolini, in the movement of the white swans, in the melodious melody of the Samgaan. She is the presiding deity of Bagdevi Vedas. Niruktakar Yasaka says, 'Tatra Saraswati Iti Etasya Nadi Baddovaccha Nigma Both qualities of Saraswati are observed in the original Rigveda. In ancient times, Yajnas were performed on the banks of the river Saraswati and gradually Saraswati river became the goddess of holy mantras and Bagdevi. Translation:
O Saraswati, you have slain the blasphemers and destroyed the son of the all-pervading illusionist Krsaya. O, Annasampana Devi! You gave the earth to mankind and sent rain for them. Mother Saraswati gives us strength to destroy evil spirits.
Yastva Devi Saraswatutpabrute Dhane Hito Indrangana Vritraturya. (Rigveda 6/61/5)
Translation: O Goddess Saraswati, protect the person who praises you like Indra when he fights for wealth.
Goddess Saraswati is pure white, white-limbed, white padmasina, and white Hansabahana. By his grace, man gains worldly and transcendental knowledge. She is the presiding goddess of music. By chanting 'Om Kar' and Gayatri mantras in harmony with music and raga, the soul merges into the Supreme Soul. Upanishad says-
Vidyang chavidyang cha jastad bedobhoysanh.
Avidya Mritung Titva Vidyayahmritmashnute. (Ish Upanishad/11)
Translation:
A man who can know both the theory of knowledge and the theory of action correctly together. He transcends death in the ceremony of action and enjoys the amrita in the ceremony of knowledge i.e. obtains the blissful nectar. By the grace of Ma, we get both knowledge. From the above description, it is proved that Goddess Saraswati is worshiped since the Vedic age.
