100,000 Ukrainian soldiers killed in war with Russia.

According to recent reports, the total number of Ukrainian casualties, including both killed and injured, in the ongoing war is estimated to be half a million or more. This figure is four times higher than earlier statements made by US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley, who had declared that over 100,000 Ukrainian troops had been killed or injured.

The situation on the ground is dire, with soldiers being killed at a rate comparable to World War I. Despite this, the US Defense Secretary has stated that the city of Bakhmut, where tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have died, holds more symbolic than strategic value.

The US is sending aid packages and weapons to Ukraine to prepare for a major spring offensive to retake territory from Russian forces, but denies directing the war. However, the US has taken over the country's political structures and banned all anti-war parties. The Ukrainian military is reportedly throwing vast numbers of raw recruits into battle, resulting in high casualties.

Despite this, the US and NATO are escalating their involvement by sending fighter jets to Ukraine, and there are calls for even more direct involvement, such as the deployment of NATO ground troops. The conflict is becoming more open, and a recent incident involving a downed US drone by a Russian fighter aircraft highlights the danger of a direct clash between NATO and Russia.
